The 2025 PAEC inquiry found the gaps still open, worst of all for smaller and regional councils. The problem is not your team. It is the tools. Manual processes and siloed systems leave every program exposed.

03Before the first review

Stop fraud before it enters the building.

The problem: most grants fraud lives in the gap between what an applicant claims and what a busy officer has time to check. The fix: Auxin closes that gap at the point of submission.

ABN, ASIC and entity checks run automatically. Inactive entities and disqualified directors are flagged on arrival.
Cross-council duplicate detection. The same organisation applying to several councils is visible to all of them. No other platform does this.
AI risk scoring and ward monitoring surface the highest-risk applications first. This is the exact concern PAEC named in 2025.

The money never leaves your control.

The problem: most fraud happens after approval, when a lump sum is gone before the acquittal arrives. The fix: Auxin never hands over a lump sum. Each grant gets its own ringfenced account, and every payment is checked before it moves.
